SkyJamie Cullum has claimed that he is “the nice guy” on the Must Be The Music judging panel.
The jazz musician, who is joined on the programme by Dizzee Rascal and Sharleen Spiteri, confessed that he will always try to find the positives in acts who audition on the music reality show.
“I’m the nice guy, the politest one. If it’s not enough, I don’t say, you’re sh*t, leave,” he said.
“It’s about letting someone take something positive from the experience, so they can leave thinking that the judges said this, so that’s what we’re going to work on.”
Speaking about what he is looking for in the winner of the show, he said: “We have a responsibility to find an act that will do something good with the money, that will seize this opportunity. It’d be great to see a band or performer that is ready to record and go on tour.”
Must Be The Music starts on August 15 at 7pm on Sky1.
