With one foot in pop and the other in jazz, Jamie Cullum went to Brazil last week to perform at the Natura We praised and made ??one of the concerts of the festival. Jamie is known for his energetic performances, which does not hesitate to climb on the piano and leaves the audience not take your eyes off the stage. The singer, composer and instrumentalist English, owner of five albums – the first he produced only 48 pounds – he also likes to sing hits from other names in addition to jazz, like Massive Attack or White Stripes. Vogue chatted with musician with an air of boy, soooo, just before his show here:
Vogue Brazil – You sold a few pairs of shoes recently at an auction on eBay to raise money for Japanese earthquake victims. Left some with you?
Jamie Cullum – I had a phase where I was hooked on tennis. I even have 50, 60 pairs, but over the years, I was giving to people. I kept the most important, that I photographed album covers, music videos. But I have good fans who would like some of them and managed to raise some money for a good cause.
