One tune is a cover of Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music,” which is entwined with heavy jazz influences. Slowed down and made acoustic, a solo on piano begins the track before Cullum’s raspy vocals combine with the instrumental melody, making it an easily recognizable but entirely original cover.
Tracks like “Love Ain’t Gonna Let You Down” have a big band influence with horns and acoustic percussion. It is also one of the more slower-paced tracks, a ballad about love.
