Jazz singer Jamie Cullum threw a £30,000 party to bid farewell to friends and family as he goes off on his world tour.
The 30-year-old crooner spent a fortune on the private party at the Clapham Grand club in South London to say goodbye as he prepares to kick off the tour.
He told guests: “After tonight, I won’t really see anyone for a couple of months – and that includes my beautiful wife.”
Guests at the bash included the star’s wife Sophie Dahl, actor Kevin Spacey, Aussie singer Natalie Imbruglia and TV chef Jamie Oliver and his wife Jools.
A guest told UK newspaper the Daily Mail: “Jamie arranged a box for Sophie and her family to watch the show. But Sophie wanted to be right in front of the stage. No one wanted to stand behind her, though.”
